Our vision for an eclectic and modern styled elopement couldn't have turned out better, with lots of elements that incorporated "organic meets industrial" elements. We love how our handmade moss chandeliers, the draped canopy, hand-dyed textiles, gold leaf and gold wire details, natural elements (moss / twigs / geodes / favors) all mixed so well with the modern touches of the dress and simple backgrounds. From conception, to execution, styling and installation, to photography and editing, this is a perfect example to show you everything we've got to offer!
Sam and Colleen got married in the same back yard that they met, and we loved setting the scene in such a meaningful space. When we discussed the overall mood and flow for the day, Colleen asked us to help transform the yard into a comfortable space, with several areas for lounge and leisure. Their aesthetic was rooted in earth tones, rustic pieces, and 70's West Coast kitsch. It was so much fun finding all the interesting pieces and details, and the look on her face when she first entered the yard was everything we ever wanted.
We could tell you how delicious Trillium pies are, but we thought we’d show you instead. We helped style a shoot for German Village based company Trillium Pies, a bakery specializing in the flakiest, most mouth-watering pies in the Midwest.
When we approached Olivera Bratich, owner of Clintonville store Wholly Craft we wanted her windows to be a creative representation of what she carries in-store: Local, hand crafted, approachable and inspirational goods. With spring finally approaching we decided to bring the nostalgic memories of summer camp to life in her store front by crafting "Ojos de Dios", or "Gods Eyes" with a twist.
Milk Bar Boutique was located in the Short North Arts District, and just before closing their doors, they reached out about doing a beautiful 3D installation for their storefront windows. We had a blast and kept things fun with vivid pops of color and geometric patterns that acted as a beautiful backdrop to the products in the window. Totally attention grabbing and a huge success.
Seasonal Pulp is an ongoing collaborative venture between the Illume Collective and Wild Goose Creative. It's a way to celebrate the best thing about living in the Midwest – the colorful seasons - through community made installations. At each session, we host an origami workshop open to the public, where participants are asked to make a handful of origami designs; a few to take home, and a few to leave behind for the window display that will stay up for the duration of that season.
Columbus Flea threw a bash at Strongwater this winter as a thank-you to the community for raising funds for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. They reached out to us to rent the photo booth and do a blinging fun backdrop for the event. Here are just a few of the moments we captured from the photo booth. We had a blast designing the backdrop and the cue cards for their custom props. Needless to say, it was the life of the party.
Revelator is the brainchild of Bobby Miller III and Adriana Mundy, and we couldn’t be more excited to be their collaborative partner. Here are a handful of photos from the photo booth and custom backdrop we did for their launch party, and stay tuned for more projects with these guys - including custom backdrops and the photo booth at the Fourth & Fourth Festival.
